Google Chrome
Disable AutoFill in Chrome
- Click the Chrome menu icon (three vertical dots in the top right corner).
- Click Settings.
- In the left-hand menu, click Autofill and expand the section you want to disable (e.g., Passwords, Addresses, Payments).
- Set the toggle switch to the OFF position.
Clear AutoFill Data in Chrome
- Click the Chrome menu icon.
- Click Privacy and Security in the left-hand menu.
- Expand Clear browsing data.
- Select the Advanced tab and set Time range to All Time.
- Check the box for Autofill form data.
- Click Clear Data.
Microsoft Edge
Disable AutoFill in Microsoft Edge
- Click the Settings icon (three horizontal dots in the top right corner).
- Click Settings.
- In the Your Profile section, click Personal info, Passwords, and Payment info, and ensure the options are toggled off.
Clear AutoFill Data in Edge
- Click the Settings icon.
- Click Settings.
- Go to Privacy, search, and services.

- Select All time from the time range dropdown.

Firefox
Turn Off AutoFill in Firefox
- Click the Firefox menu icon (three horizontal lines in the top right corner).
- Click Options.
- Select Privacy & Security.
- Under Logins and Passwords, uncheck Autofill logins and passwords.
- Go to the History section.
- From the Firefox will dropdown, select Use custom settings for history.
- Uncheck the relevant options.
Clear AutoFill Data in Firefox
- Click the Firefox menu icon.
- Click Options.
- Select Privacy & Security.
- Under History, click Clear History.
- Select the Time range to clear.
- Check the box for Form & Search History.
Safari
Turning Off AutoFill in Safari
- Click the Safari menu (top left of the screen).
- Click Preferences.
- Select AutoFill.
- Uncheck Using info from my Contacts, Usernames and passwords, Credit cards, and Other Forms.
Opera
Switch Off AutoFill in Opera
- Click the Opera menu button (top left corner).
- Select Settings from the dropdown.
- Go to Advanced → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to Autofill and expand Passwords, Payment methods, and Addresses and more.
- Use the toggle switch to disable AutoFill.
