Overview OneLogin Integration
OneLogin is a Single Sign-on (SSO) provider that allows you to log in to all your connected apps from one portal. It also supports Two-Factor and Multi-Factor Authentication, which enhances security by verifying the identity of users beyond just a password. The integration with Spotler CRM replaces the standard login process with OneLogin, ensuring secure and unified access to your CRM. This integration is available only in the Enterprise Plan of Spotler CRM.
Set up OneLogin Integration
The setup of OneLogin integration with Spotler CRM involves several steps to ensure proper configuration.
Important: Single Sign-On Only
Once OneLogin is enabled, users can only log in to Spotler CRM via the OneLogin portal. Ensure that all users have been added to the OneLogin app before disabling standard login.
Please follow the steps below:
- Step 1 - Enabling OneLogin for Spotler CRM
- Step 2 - Create a OneLogin Account and Portal
- Step 3 - Configure the Spotler CRM App
- Step 4 - Configure OneLogin in Your CRM
- Step 5 - Download and Import the Certificate
- Step 6 - Complete the Configuration
- Step 7 - Your CRM Sign-in
- Step 8 - Add Users
Step 1 - Enabling OneLogin for Spotler CRM
To set up OneLogin in Spotler CRM, first verify that Single Sign-on is enabled. Go to Settings, then Integrations, and click on Single Sign-on. If the Single Sign-on option is not available, contact Customer Support to enable it.
Step 2 - Create a OneLogin Account and Portal
First, create an account at OneLogin and verify your email address. Follow the instructions in the verification email to set up your account.
Step 3 - Configure the Spotler CRM App
Log in to your OneLogin account, navigate to Apps on the navigation bar, and click the Add App button. Search for Spotler CRM and select it. There is no need to import any icons, so simply save the app.
Step 4 - Configure OneLogin in Your CRM
In Spotler CRM, go to the OneLogin integrations page and click the Setup button.
Next, in OneLogin, go to the SSO section, where you'll see three URLs: Issuer URL, SAML 2.0 Endpoint, and SLO Endpoint. Copy these URLs and paste them into the corresponding fields in Spotler CRM's integration page.
Step 5 - Download and Import the Certificate
In OneLogin, click the View Details link under the X.509 Certificate section and download the certificate as a .pem file. In Spotler CRM, click the Choose File button to upload the certificate.
Step 6 - Complete the Configuration
Once the certificate is uploaded, click Next in Spotler CRM. Copy the displayed login URL (highlighted in blue) and paste it into the SAML Consumer URL field in OneLogin, then click Save.
Step 7 - Your CRM Sign-in
Once the integration is complete, you can add Spotler CRM to your OneLogin portal. From the Apps/Company Apps page in OneLogin, select Spotler CRM, and add it for both yourself and your users. If you have other apps connected to OneLogin, they will also appear on this page.
Step 8 - Add Users
To add users, go to the Administration page in OneLogin, click Users, then New User. Fill in the user details and click Save User. If you have multiple users, you can import their information via a .csv file.
Important: Email Address Match
The email address used for OneLogin must match the user's email address in Spotler CRM, or else a login error will occur. If a user tries to log in through the standard login page, they will be redirected back to OneLogin.
Disabling OneLogin Integration
If you need to disable OneLogin integration, go to Settings, then Integrations, and open Single Sign-on. Click the red Disable button. This will revert the login process to the standard login page.
