  2. In the Event option, select New, Updated or New or Updated from the dropdown menu:
New: when you want the automation to trigger when the record is a new entry to your CRM.
Updated: when you want the automation to trigger when a record in your CRM is updated to a specific record type.
New or Updated: when you want the automation to trigger when a record in your CRM is new or updated to a specific record type.

Next, select your Record Type from the dropdown. In this example, the event trigger is an update to an Opportunity.

  3. If you wish to filter the event further, set the toggle to Yes. It will now display more options. Use the dropdown to select the field you wish to filter by. In this case, the selection is the Opportunity Status.
For the trigger to be activated when the status changes from any other status option to won, leave the From option empty and change the To option to Won from the dropdown. Click Confirm when ready.CRMeventtrigger-3.png
